Top Video Ads for 2015, According to YouTube

YouTube recently announced the top video ads for 2015. But what may (or may not) be surprising, is the real winner of all of this is mobile. For the first time, more people watched the top 10 ads on mobile than on their desktop. These videos were watched, collectively, more than 470 million times this year – nearly two-thirds of these views were on mobile devices.

Another big reminder to create video ads with the mobile viewer in mind…

NUMBER 1: Clash of Clans: Revenge (Official Super Bowl TV Commercial)

Action-packed, suspenseful and entertaining, the Clash of Clans ad has it all, and with its Superbowl slot easily claimed the top spot on YouTube’s list.

SOCIAL CONSCIOUSNESS: MESSAGES THAT FEEL

One big observation was that videos that share a social message scored big this year – “Like a Girl” (#6) and the video above, #3 “Love Has No Bounds,” were favorites among viewers. A reminder to keep heart in mind when creating video.
